Abstract
Business and industry competition is increasingly keen that the market has
changed the behavior of the buyer market into a sellers market, companies
that can not meet the demands of the market / consumer will be shifted
from the world of commerce. In order to deal with the situation, the
company needs to do everything in its power and efforts to improve
employee productivity and the quality of goods or services produced. To
change the culture there is the concept of Total Quality Management
Qualitas introduced by Edward Deming and apply it in Japan. The
concept of TQM consists of eight principles: Focus on customers both
internal and external customers, Possessing obsession high on quality,
Using a scientific approach in decision making and problem solving,
Commitment jamgka long, Requires teamwork (teamwork), Improving the
process on an ongoing basis , Organizing pendidikandan training,
providing a controlled freedom, Have a unity of purpose.
