Abstract
In a critical view, the media are a means to fight the ideology and
maintain the status quo. Media representing something by a certain
ideology that gave birth to a virtual reality (virtual reality). Research
in the critical tradition, especially to see the media as a great power
that plays a role in the manipulation of public consciousness so that
readers experiencing false consciousness. Critical discourse analysis is
an analytical tool to pry media discourse practices, in an effort to
build public awareness about the reality of the truth.
