Abstract

The development of the times and demands for the use of technology in student competency tests provide opportunities to continue to innovate. This study aims to find out how the application of the CBT (Computer based Test) system uses Google Forms on the Arabic language test (Ikhtibar al-Lughah al-Arabiyah al-‗Ammah) in the Language Center ILA-AL class. The type of research used is Research and Development with the ADDIE development model. The research subjects were ILA-AL class students at the Language Center of UIN Syahada Padangsidimpuan. The research used descriptive analytical methods—data collection techniques using interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The results showed that the Google Form-based CBT application was effectively used as a standardized Arabic language test for students. Application development is needed for digitalization at the UIN Syahada Padangsidimpuan Language Center
