Abstract

The problem of this research is how to implement the role of sharia cooperatives in improving the economy and
welfare of the Indonesian people. The purpose of this research is to provide knowledge and insight to readers
regarding the role of sharia cooperatives in the arrangement of business actors and society in Indonesia. The type
of research conducted by the author is qualitative research. Qualitative research is research conducted by using
scientific logic. The results of the study show that sharia cooperatives have a role that can be used as a solution
for the community's economy. If the wheels of a country's economy continue to spin, the welfare of society will
also be realized.
