Abstract

Mathematics can be applied in many fields of study, one of them in
Economics. Many problems in economics can be explained by means of
mathematics both in numbers, and formulas so it can be measured
properly. If we understand about mathematic and can think something
how to solve problem with mathematic, so we have mathematical ability.
Mathematical ability is the ability to think in accordance with the
procedures of mathematics. Mathematical ability is used to analyze the
existing problems in the economy. Mathematical abilities include
mathematical reasoning, mathematical communication, mathematical
problem solving, mathematical reasoning, creative thinking and critical
thinking. Therefore, mathematical ability has significant role in
Economics.
