Abstract

Currently, social media is widely known by the people of Indonesia, including in South Tapanuli. Social media that is being widely discussed, what is currently trending is the tik-tok application in which there are videos that according to the content dance to the accompaniment of music, and various singing content, study program content, and also various other content. Creative content. Tiktok addiction makes users forget their obligations, forget their responsibilities and eventually end up in divorce. This study aims to determine the divorce caused by the tiktok application to be used as an act of kindness for active users. The target of this research is the Tabasel community. Data obtained through interviews and observations. Then analyzed by analytical descriptive analysis. The results of the study describe in recent years that the people of Southern Tapanuli are mostly the factors of household rift and divorce which are influenced by the Tik Tok application. The use of the Tik Tok application that is not wise gives birth to new bad habits such as moral decay, eroding politeness, neglecting to carry out obligations and not having a sense of responsibility.
