Abstract

Islamic Human Development Index (I-HDI) gives a picture of human development in a country with the Maqhasid Sharia approach. As the largest Muslim population in the world, Indonesia has the low-I-HDI grade. As well as for I-HDI provinces in Indonesia almost 80% which are very alarming grade. This condition can be related to all policies implemented by the state, through the strategies used for achieving economic growth, fiscal policy, and demographics. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence and interrelationships between economic growth, fiscal policy in health and education also demographics on the Islamic Human Development Index in Indonesia's provinces. The results showed based on the analysis of the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) of Economic Growth, Fiscal Policy in health has an influence on the Islamic Human Development Index respectively of 7.8% and 12.7%. Fiscal Policy in education and Demographic respectively of -97.% And -60.9%. Based on the analysis of Impulse Response Function (IRF), Fiscal Policy in Health and Education are the highest variable responded by other variables, the dynamic shock show they are stable between the 9th until 19th years. Variance Decomposition (FEVD) analysis results show that Fiscal Policy in Health and Education has the biggest contribution to the other variables, which is 0.22% to 67.11%. Islamic Human Development Index has the lowest response and contribution to other variables which is 0.07%
