Abstract
The problem faced by a person should be resolved immediately. Counseling is an effort made to help the completion of the client. In the communication skills needs counseling. Counseling conducted by a counselor, either by using the language of verbal and non-verbal language. Verbal language is the primary means to express thoughts, feelings and desires of a person. Verbal language using words represents various aspects of an individual's life. Non-verbal language is a communication process that is not done through the pronunciation of words, but using body movement, posture, intonation tone (high-low tones), eye contact, facial expression, proximity, and touches or communication context. Non-verbal language in communication counseling, among others are shaking hands, a smiling face, the readiness of context, such as setting the decor of the room, the seating arrangement, the distance sitting, counseling room, eye contact, listening to the client, and silences
