Abstract

Intellectual Property Rights (IPR ) is basically a right which is based upon
the work of intellectual person. The works of intellect such as research, art
and literature, which includes all written works (literary works), such as
books, computer programs, databases, technical reports, manuskripsi,
architectural works, maps, the result of translation, and cultural
appreciation that has quality high art, did not come about easily, but
require a lot of " energy " and not infrequently accompanied by large
expenses. This sacrifice should be rewarded commensurate, but it turns out
the creativity generated by mobilizing all the potential it does not get an
award worthy.
Islamic law appears to be an alternative solution for copyright protection
more effectively. Character worth divine Islamic law should be the added
value that makes people motivated to stick with it, and reinforced by the
objective view that adalam rule that no benefit to be gained by all pihak.
Elements characteristic of Islamic law should be considered to complement
the divine positive law copyright. Divine values and aspects of eschatology
is expected to make people rely more introspective to comply with the law .
Awareness is reinforced with a thorough understanding of the benefit that
is contained by the rules of copyright .
