Abstract
Current information needs to be returned to the nature of mass media audience
is heterogeneous , in the meantime residents in certain communities that are
within the context of mass media audiences requires their involvement in
managing information and also disseminate it to membutuhi information in
accordance with what they need.
Citizen media is expected to provide an important role in meeting the information
needs of citizens based on their needs . However, in pursue of this citizen
journalism does not escape from the rule as to what they need in the running to
win the trust of citizen journalism as a citizen journalist who trusted and avoid
the negative impact of the result of errors that occur in citizen journalism.
