Abstract
Management of heart is nothing new in the world of Islam, but the old
stuff with new packaging. Moreover, entering the realm of Sufism, the
management of heart a necessity, why? Because of the heart, liver and
soul where fleshly giver orders (orders) to all organs of the body to do
a job and action. Words of Allah in Surah Ash-Shams verses 7-10 is
understood that the heart is synonymous with the word nafs, soul,
spiritual, or liver as a potential make manusiua good and evil.
Heart or liver become the central point of attention of the Sufis and
observers of Islamic psychology. This is because the heart can be
contaminated with less reprehensible traits that must be cleaned up
and removed and removed from someone who wants to draw closer
to Allah. There are several theories in the management of heart that
unfolded in this paper, either through referrals words of Allah (His
verses), Hadith Muhammad apostles and the theory Salikin
(adherents of the congregation).
