Abstract
This article describes the conflict resolution reviewed by Islamic Law with the location of the Padangsidimpuan City Religious Court. This research is a field research with a qualitative type, using descriptive analytical data analysis techniques. The results of this study are that conflict resolution is very important in resolving family cases. This is of course to minimize the occurrence of divorce for married couples. There is an increase in the divorce rate at the Padangsidimpuan City Religious Court in 2020-2021 due to the lack of practice of conflict resolution in the family. The conflict resolution in Islamic law is known to be contained in QS. An-Nisa paragraphs 34 and 35. This conflict resolution should be implemented by the husband and wife before filing for divorce to the Religious Court. However, it is known that there are actually principles in the Law and KHI to make it difficult for divorce to occur, one of which is through mediation.
